Living in a society of new technologies, the pain of the hand and wrist has become a social problem. It refers to each of us and it spreads very quickly, leading to carpal tunnel syndrome, which became one of the most known occupational diseases common for those, who use the computer mouse as a basic tool.

Raya

Raya is a rehabilitation computer mouse that prevents pain and tingle in hands including carpal tunnel syndrome by requiting constant changing of the angle while using it. The shape of the mouse prevents tendinitis overload and pain in the thumb area during us and the occurrence of De Quervain's syndrome.

Raya consists of two parts one on top of the other. The lower part functions as electronics of the system whereas the upper one requires constant changing of the angle while using it. In this way, the hand is on the move all the time and the mouse enforces exercising it. The mouse rehabilitation movement is barely detectable and it doesn’t impede the precision and the speed of manipulating it.

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS)

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is a medical condition due to compression of the median nerve as it travels through the wrist at the carpal tunnel.

Symptoms start gradually and during the night. People experience pain, numbness and tingling mostly in the thumb, index and middle finger. For some of them, it also extends up the arm.

How to prevent it?

Raya consist of a special mechanism that enables non-invasive and barely recognisable rehabilitation move, which helps to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome by exercising muscles in the carpal tunnel

Ergonomy

The shape of the mouse ensures the natural grip of the user and prevents the problems with thumb area such as tendinitis overload and pain during use, including the occurrence of De Quervain's syndrome. Additionally, there are functional buttons to activate IV and Vth finger.
